The Royal Shakespeare Theatre

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is a large building with a mixture of very old glazing and very modern glazing to the Theatre and the tower itself. It has a lot of different areas that need to be cleaned in certain ways and they have a 10 story tower which is cleaned by us before the Theatre opens for public access. This requires great skill and expertise as from level 6 upwards the outside needs to be cleaned from the inside.

With the building being hundreds of years old, some of the windows are listed so a lot of due care and attention is needed whilst cleaning them.

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre has many other buildings spread across Stratford-upon-Avon that we are also contracted to look after. We work extremely well with the Royal Shakespeare Team under strict timescales and a highly organised schedule to cover the complete building and buildings properly is paramount.

Having worked with SKS for a while now, I have found their organisation very supportive in adapting to change and meeting the needs of our business. As a contract Manager for The RSC, delivering a cost effective window cleaning solution for the client is paramount and SKS have worked hard to achieve this in an ever changing environment providing first class service. After some further collaborative working I have signed for a further 12 month contract with SKS to provide a total window cleaning package across our ever expanding estate.
